Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
At Pixemon (https://pixemon.com/), accessible from any web browser, the privacy of our visitors is one of our utmost priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that are collected, processed, and recorded by Pixemon, and how we protect your privacy as you use our browser-based photo collage maker, passport photo creator, background remover, and image editing suite.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@pixemon.com.
1. Client-Side Photo Processing & Zero Image Retention
Pixemon operates on a privacy-first, client-side architecture. When you open, drag-and-drop, or edit photos in Pixemon:
- In-Browser Execution: Your photos are rendered, rotated, cropped, color-adjusted, and assembled directly within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and WebAssembly technologies.
- No Cloud Storage of Photos: Pixemon does not upload, copy, transfer, or store your personal photos on our remote web servers during normal editing workflows. Your pictures never leave your local device.
- Optional Local AI Models: For advanced deep-learning background removal and enhancement, Pixemon supports running ONNX model files directly in your browser using ONNX Runtime Web. These models can be loaded from your own computer, so the photo and the model both stay on your device.
2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising
Pixemon uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to serve advertisements when you visit our website. To keep our online photo tools free and accessible, advertising revenue helps offset domain, content delivery, and ongoing software development costs.
Please review the following essential disclosures regarding Google's advertising practices:
- Google Advertising Cookies & DoubleClick DART: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies including the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads on Pixemon. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized or contextual ads to our visitors based on their visit to Pixemon and other websites across the internet.
- Opting Out of Personalized Advertising: You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ and Google's My Ad Center at https://myadcenter.google.com/. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) Consumer Opt-Out page at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
- Third-Party Ad Networks: Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Pixemon, which are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit. Note that Pixemon has no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.
3. Log Files & Technical Analytics
Like almost all websites, Pixemon follows a standard procedure of utilizing log files through our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages). The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The sole purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement around the website, and gathering broad demographic information to maintain site security and uptime.
4. Browser LocalStorage & Service Workers
To improve user experience and app responsiveness, Pixemon uses your browser's native localStorage and IndexedDB APIs to:
- Save user-created custom package and collage templates locally on your computer so they persist across sessions.
- Cache static WebAssembly runtimes and neural network weights locally so subsequent photo editing loads instantaneously without downloading repeat data.
- Remember interface preferences (e.g. selected layout or workspace settings).
You can clear this cached data at any time through your browser's application or history settings without affecting your device.
5. GDPR Data Subject Rights (European Economic Area)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Pixemon aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data:
- The right to access: You have the right to request copies of any personal data we hold about you.
- The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
- The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
Because Pixemon does not require account registration or store photos on remote servers, we maintain minimal personal data. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Please contact us at support@pixemon.com.
6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents are entitled to specific rights concerning their personal information:
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data a business has collected about consumers.
- Right to Delete: You may request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
- Right to Opt-Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Data: Pixemon does not sell personal information, and we do not exchange personal data with third parties for monetary compensation. Third-party advertising partners may collect technical identifiers via cookies as described in Section 2.
To exercise any of these rights, please email our privacy team at support@pixemon.com.
7. Children's Privacy Protection
Protecting the privacy of children is especially important. Pixemon does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that your child provided personal information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
8. Updates to This Policy
